Christopher H. Hunt

Overview: Christopher H. Hunt, Esquire: Born in Rockledge, FL 1961, admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006.

Education: University of Central Florida (B.A., Legal Studies, 2000) Florida A & M University, College of Law (Juris Doctorate, 2005, with honors.)

Experience: Mr. Hunt has extensive experience in insurance defense, real estate litigation and general civil litigation matters. He began his career with a large insurance defense law firm where he handled cases defending personal injury, construction defect, and property damage claims, and where he also gained valuable trial experience. Mr. Hunt also has experience defending foreclosure actions as an assistant city attorney for several cities located throughout Central Florida. Mr. Hunt is a senior associate at Kaufman, Englett and Lynd, PLLC where he continues to practice in the area of real estate litigation, with a primary focus on defending residential foreclosures. Mr. Hunt also has appellate experience, including experience involving the important issue of a trial court’s improper dismissal of a lawsuit. (Capital Investment Group, Inc. v. Richburg, 944 So. 2d 1232 (Fla. 5th DCA 2006)).
