Overview: Martha D. Bolton was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1996, and the Florida Bar in 1998.

Education:University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, B.A. in Journalism (1986); University of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD; Juris Doctorate, with honors (1995). MA in Legal and Ethical Studies (1998).

Experience: Ms Bolton began practicing law in Chicago, IL, where she focused in litigation on behalf of Plaintiffs. After moving to Florida in 1998, Ms. Bolton continued her litigation practice, focusing on employment defense, medical malpractice, nursing home defense and foreclosure defense. She has served as President of the Federal Bar Association’s Jacksonville, FL chapter, and has argued at the appellate level, with reported decisions in the areas of employment law, civil rights and personal injury. With over 12 years of litigation experience, Ms. Bolton currently devotes her entire practice to foreclosure defense and elder law.
